Really cool milk glass nesting bowls for $2! 

A church down the road from me was selling these stools. So cool. I got 2 wood ones and 4 metal square tips for $20!! It's my find of the week! 

Hello There!

Thrift store shopping (a quick trip because it is so cold here today!) 

I found this cute little set (5 small plates and creamer) 

I also got these $2 for the box, I figured I would use them in a hurricane or lantern to decorate for Christmas!!! 

On another note, I was in a store the other day and saw this. 

I love fresh greenery, especially for Christmas and especially magnolia. How simple (and basically FREE) is this swag? 

Speaking of "fresh". I had a man cut me some log rounds to use as chargers in my dining room this year. 

He charged me only $20 for 12! Can't beat that right?? The ones at hobby lobby were $15 a piece! 

I made these the other day (chalkboards). I think I'm going to use them on my tree. They cost me hardly anything to make but chalk paint takes many coats!! Ugh. Oh well. I'm happy with the outcome. 

We are getting a real tree this year and doing a lot more of a rustic/ natural feel. I can't wait!!! 

Baby Free Yard Sale Day!

 It was a very successful, baby free 3 hours this morning! Check it....

An entire white, quilted bed set (shams, duvet cover with comforter, and a bed skirt) for $12!! 

I got this sweet plate for $1 plus 8 tea cups and saucers for $1 a piece.

There is a monogram shop near my house that was having a sidewalk sale and today everything was $1!!! Whaaaat!? 

Even some of their tervis tumblers. This one is perfect for Grace!

Yard Sale Success

Yay for yard sale success! The first 3 pictures are from yesterday and the last 2 are from this morning! Yippee!

Almost Time!

I love the changing of seasons and while I do like fall, it makes me happier knowing christmas is that much closer!!! I can't can't wait!!! 

These made me happy! Not only are they the right size, they are boy/girl abd they.l were $.50 each! 

These are a kids size 2. Ha. BUT they are in perfect condition and were $.75 so how could I say no?

These were also $.75 each and are Keds. 

So for $3.25 all of these goodies came home with me. 

The consigment sales have been a huge busy for me. The last one I went to I got a pair of tights, a jacket and a puzzle. That was it!! I felt like the prices were way hi and I wasn't that thrilled with anything I found anyway. 

I did find a few smocked christmas dresses, one for next year for $9 and one for the year after for $12. I'm a sucker for smocked Christmas dresses! 

And speaking of Christmas....

Successful Quick Stop

I decided to make a quick stop at the thrift store on the way home and I am so glad I did! I got all of this for $9!! Smocked dress, kellys kids dress, sun sans etc. can't beat that!! Yippee!

I decorated my front porch for fall and I am loving it! I am so glad my version came together!! 

I got the super cute door hanger from kirklands by the way! Adorable right??

Giddy About A Good Deal

I am sure you have figured out now, I am a pretty savvy shopper. I love love getting good things for cheap! Here are a few of my finds from the last week or so...

Today was goodwills half off day and I got all of this for the twins for $3! Yippee. 

Plus I went to an estate sale and got a mason jar and a glass pitcher for $1. 

And drum roll please.... 

.... this is my deal of the week! I got 14 pairs of PJs for the twins for $22 at JC Penny. That's right my friends, savings of $203. Whaaat!? Yes sir! I don't typically shop at the mall but I got word of the sale and I'm glad I did! 

More Deals

Here are a few things I found this past week: 

This will be perfect for my "rustic/burlap" Christmas tree!  Goodwill: $1 

And this was free! I was at the recycle center and I spotted it on the top (I didn't dumpster dive. Ha) So I grabbed it! Does that make me a theif? 

Yard sale find, a Pottery Barn anywhere chair for $25. Now if only I could find another one, because the twins already fight over it! 

And I finally got the light fixture hung that I bought about 6 months ago. It was $100, typically more than I like to eons but this baby is coming with us when and of we ever move! I am in love with it! 

Fall time in TN, I mean football time in TN.

Tonight starts football season, which in my mind, is the start of fall. Seems a little early right? It's not even September yet. None the less, fall is on my mind. 

I am a sucker for blue and white dishes/ transfer ware and couldn't pass these up for $1 a piece. 

Also, I have seen pumpkins. Yes for sale, but also on someone's porch! What?! Too early. However, I am getting excited about fall and decorating and that means Christmas is coming! 

Oh wait, back to fall. Kirklands has some CUTE stuff for fall surprisingly. 

I am so excited about this. He came home with me today. How super cute is this? 

So did these towels, can't go wrong with a monogram towel for $3.50 a piece. 

These frames are super cute too, didn't buy one but I might have to when they're in sale. 

They also have a lot of cute initial things, chalkboards etc. I was impressed!
