My Wonderful Coffee Table

I love my coffee table. I found it on Craigslist of course. I really loved the legs and the detail. When I found it, it had been painted a pale green color and smelled of moth balls...

I first painted the entire chest white and I liked the look of it but really wanted to have a wood top. I figured if I really screwed it up, I could always paint the sucker back.
This was my first stripping job... HA! Talk about work, and fumes... well it was worth it because here she is now......

I love it. Its exactly what I was picturing! Well worth all the work for sure.

  1. Love the stained wood and painted combo! Turned out perfect!

  2. Looks great. Love the wood top with the white, and it's very practical as well.

  3. Gorgeous - and absolutely worth the work! I am in the midst of a similar project now and this is good motivation for me. Nice job!
